Wayne Robert Reilly, 82, of Bakersfield, California, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Born on October 14, 1943, to Marjorie Barbara Williams Reilly and Richard Ernest Reilly, Wayne was known for his unwavering kindness, his generous heart, his deep love for the outdoors, and the pride he carried from serving in the U.S. Navy. He dedicated his career to his work as a machinist at KS Industries.

He is survived by his children, Wayne Reilly, Steven Reilly, and Autumn Taylor; his siblings, Pamela Reilly Bieck and Michael Reilly; his 12 grandchildren; his 21 great-grandchildren; his 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Reilly, and his son, Dwight Reilly.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held on May 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
