Wanda Colleen Price

Wanda Colleen Price went to be with her Heavenly father on April 2, 2023. she was born in Lawton Oklahoma to Truman and Allie Lakin on September 3, 1936. The family eventually moved to Arvin, California. She graduated from Arvin High School were she met and married the love of her life Roy Price in July 1954.

Wanda worked as a cashier for Safeway for over 20 years, She loved her work , her customers, and her coworkers.

She is preceded in death by her parents Truman and Allie Lakin, sister Freida Blanchard, Son Terry Price and granddaughter Carrie Price. She is survived by her husband Roy Price, sister Della Luttrel, Brothers Truman (Marty) Lakin and Larry (Carol) Lakin son David (Pat) Price, grandson Jason (Kristy) Price, and Ryan (Ashley) Price. Great grandchildren Austin, Jaxon, James, Rachel, Kaden, Addison, and Garrett Price. As well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends that she loved dearly.

A celebration of life will be hosted by David and Pat at Hodel's in the Heritage room, on Thursday April 06, 2023 at 11:00 am. All who cared for her are welcome to come reminisce enjoy a nice meal and celebrate her life.
