Terra Ashbrooks

Terra passed away on April 12, 2017 to young for a beautiful woman.
The family will be receiving friends on Sunday April 23 from 5 p.m to 8 p.m.at Kern River Family Mortuary Chapel 1900 N. Chester Ave. With a memorial service on the same day.

“If I were to die today, one thing that I hope would be said about me would be that I always tried to treat others the way in which I would want to be treated. I would want people to remember me for my kindness, silliness, and my smile. I want them to know that I always did my best to do the right thing, but that sometimes making the right choices wasn’t always easy for me. Lastly, I would want my loved ones to know how much I loved each and every one of them.
The values that I hold that may not be evident from the way I live my life are my loved ones always come first. My life has always been complicated. Some days when everything is going so perfectly, a tornado seems to rip though unannounced, and flips everything I have worked for upside down. When that happens, my family and loved ones are always there to help me put things back into place. They are the first to remind me of my worth when I seem to have forgotten. That is why they always come first.”
