Ted A. Brown

June 20, 1940 — April 27, 2015

Ted was born in Minneapolis, Minn., but lived in many places in the U.S.

He was a welder by trade but was well known for his custom hot rods he built ove the last 45 years. He had many friends around the world who were constantly contacting him with questions about their hot rods and how to make them better. Having lived 20 years in Bakersfield, he made many friends and loved to try out new coffee shops and could be seen around town on his beloved scooter.

He is survived by his wife Shirley and son Ted Jr. of Arizona, his stepdaughter Robin (Greg) of Los Angeles. Casey and his sisters Chris and Cory. Survivors also include four grandson and two great grandchildren and several nephews.

A Celebration of life is scheduled for 12:00 Wednesday May 06, 2015 at 9514 Empire State Drive Bakersfield, CA 93311.
