Suzann Zook Brown
November 9, 1928 - May 12, 2021

Suzann was born on November 9, 1928 in Lewiston, Utah to Percy and Sara Kent. Sue spent most of her childhood in Lewiston on a farm and would talk about her fond memories helping on the farm, milking the cows and being her dad’s “farmhand” as he called her.
Sue married Lee Zook in 1944 and had five children over a span of nine years: Nancy, Sharon, Zann, Troy, and Louise. Sue was a beautician all of her adult life and worked in this profession she loved until she was 86 years old. Sue worked in several beauty salons before leasing her own salon “Hair Repair”. She had devoted clients, some for more than 40 years, who became lifelong friends.
She married Wade Brown in 1984 after years together. They had a good life until his death in 1991. She enjoyed her church, home, working in her yard, and in her later years making fleece hand-tied blankets. Sue was very proud to be self-sufficient, strong, and hard working.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Elaine Dunkley and Pauline McIntyre. Sue is survived by daughter Louise (Bakersfield) and son Troy (Colorado Springs), 11 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Thank you to her caregivers Sherrie and Courtney. She was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

A private graveside service and celebration of life gathering will take place on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.
