Stacey Stanley

October 29, 1959 — January 29, 2016

Stacey Lynne Stanley, 56, of Bakersfield, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 19, 2016.

Stacey was born in Sacramento, California to Stan and Varlene Frazier. At the age of eight, she and her parents moved to Bakersfield. She attended local schools and graduated from Highland High School in 1976 at the age of sixteen.

After a short time at CSUB, Stacey decided to try her hand in the business world. She became a successful sales representative for such companies as Gallo Wine, American Greetings and Phillip Morris. In 2013, she received her Bachelor's of Arts degree in Liberal Studies at CSUB.

Stacey married the love of her life, Robert "Rob" Stanley and two years later gave birth to her pride and joy, Gunnar Stanley.

Stacey was an avid water skier, equestrian and enjoyed going to Pismo Beach in her motor home. She was a lover of all things with four legs, especially her Doberman Pinschers, Axel and Stetson, little Annabella and her horse Remy.

Stacey is preceded in death by her mother, father and step-father. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Robert Stanley and their son Gunnar Stanley and step-son Dominick Stanley.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Kern Humane Society or the ASPCA.
