Sandy Swarts

Sandy Swarts was born on April 21, 1932 and she passed away on September 18, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon S. Arredondo and Francisca Reyes, husband Francisco Hernandez Moralez, son, Joe Luis Moralez, daughters, Irene & Josephine Moralez, husband, James Dewain Swarts, sister, Lupita Dominguez , brother, Roman Arredondo, grandsons, Roy Martinez and Mark Moralez, son in law, Rogelio Martinez.



Leaving those to cherish her memory are her children, Mary Martinez, Frank Moralez (Julie), Lorenzo Moralez (Joann) and Herlinda Moralez, sisters Victoria Ramos and Filomena Madrigal.



Sandy was a hairdresser for over 30 years at various salons. Sandy met the love of her life, Jim Swarts in Bakersfield and they were married on Aug 11,1978.


She loved traveling, her favorite was going to Las Vegas and any casino she would encounter in her travels with her husband Jim. Jim and Sandy went on many adventures which included getting married in Hawaii and traveling across the USA. She was also lucky enough to visit the place she wanted to go as child, Niagara Falls.



Sandy was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother to numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great - great grandchildren.



Services will be held at Kern River Mortuary in Oildale on Sept 30, 2021 at 10:30 am and burial at Bakersfield National Cemetery on Oct 4, 2021
