November 5, 1933 — January 28, 2016
Ruth Ann Phillips Ray, of Bakersfield, peacefully passed away on
Thursday, January 28 , in her home. She is survived by her th
loving husband of 59 years, Walter Glenn Ray, their 6 children
and spouses and 42 grandchildren including their spouses and 33
great grandchildren.
Ruth was a devoted mother who loved nothing more than being
with her family. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints and her family takes great hope and comfort in the promises of our Savior
concerning life eternal.
Services will be held at 1903 Bernard Street, Bakersfield, CA 93305, The Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Saturday, February 6 at 11:00 am. A viewing will
precede the funeral services.
