Rose Francis Porter

Rosie was taken by the angels of God to be with her Lord Jesus and her family already in Heaven on the 7th day of Sept. 2013. Rosie was ready to see Jesus and had said she would like to go when she was 85. She made it with only 10 days to spare before her 86th birthday. She was preceded into Heaven by her loving husband Richard Porter and son Bobby Porter. Rosie is survived by her children: daughter, Rosemarie Rocha, son, Ronnie Porter, son, Ralph (Tyson) Porter, 19 grand children, 10 great grand children, 6 sisters, 1brother, lots of nieces and nephews, all of whom are loved forever. Rosie will be missed greatly. We will always love you Rosie, Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Sister and Friend Services will be held at 12:30pm Friday, Sept 13th 2013 at Kern River Mortuary, 1900 N. Chester Ave Bakersfield, Ca 93308 Viewing will be held before services from 12:00pm to 12:30pm A gathering for food and sharing memories will follow services and you are welcome to bring your favorite dessert. Directions will be given at end of service.
