Roland Leo George

Roland was born in St. Cloud Minnesota on April 11, 1929 to Michael and Mary (Miller) George.

He served proudly in the United States Marine Corps for 24 years. After his retirement from the Marine Corps, he enjoyed working as a Book Keeper for an Insurance Firm.

Roland has been a resident of Bakersfield for two years. He is survived by his loving wife Shigeko, Children; Kieren, Angela, Monica, Eric and Colette. Six Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren.

Rosary will be held Monday December 16th 2013 - 6:00 pm at Kern River Family Chapel, 1900 North Chester Ave. Bakersfield, CA.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on December 17th 2013 - 10: am at Christ the King Catholic, 1800 Bedford Way Bakersfield, CA.

Interments, with Full Military Honors is scheduled for 01:15 pm at the Bakersfield National Cemetery, 30338 East Bear Mtn. Blvd. Arvin, CA.
