Richard M. Traynor

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Michael Traynor (1949–2026). Richard passed away on August 13th due to complications from a cardiac episode.

We feel deeply blessed to have had him as our intelligent, kind, loving, and wonderfully funny husband, father, and papa. His unwavering faith in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, brings us great comfort as we navigate this loss.

Viewing will be at Kern River Family Mortuary 1900 N. Chester Ave. Bakersfield, Ca 93308 on Friday September 4, 2026 From 6pm to 7:30 pm. Church services will be Saturday September 5, 2026 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 5500 Fruitvale Ave Bakersfield, CA 93308 starting at 10 am
