Richard Dale Dollar, a proud Vietnam War veteran of the United States Army, passed away on May 12, 2026, at the age of 82.
Richard was born on February 2, 1944, in Seminole to Richard Dean Dollar and Lois Dollar. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and carried that sense of duty and patriotism throughout his life.
He is survived by his three children: Alfred Dollar and wife Leanne and their three children; Bruce Dollar and his three children; and Natalie DeMario. Richard also leaves behind his three sisters: Lujuana Lucas, Carol Rice, and Sue Salcido, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Bakersfield National Cemetery.
Richard will be remembered for his service, dedication to family, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew and loved him.
