Orvel Lee Baggett,90, of Bakersfield CA, passed Jan 16, 2016 at home with family. Born July 11, 1925 in Oklahoma. Orvel served in the US Marines in WWll. Survived by wife Dorothy Baggett of 70 years, daughter Diana Baggett, 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Proceeded in death by children Janice McCraken, Linda Ryan, Dean Baggett, Katy Baggett and Sharon Baggett. Orvel was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.
Homecoming will be Wednesday Jan 20, 2016 starting at 10:45 at the Bakersfield National Cemetery in Arvin
