Michael R. Oleson

Bakersfield — Michael (Mike) Ray Oleson, 64, died Thursday, July 25, 2019, at home, with his son at his side.
Mike was preceded in death by his father Robert Oleson. He is survived by his mother, Juanita (Bonnie) Oleson; sisters, Bobby Oleson-Guill, Melody Devin, and Candis Kirkorian; daughter, Sunshine (Mark) Garside: son, Michael (Heather) Oleson; granddaughter, Ashlyn Oleson; grandsons, J.R. Oleson and Luke Garside; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Mike loved collecting old things and being creative. He was a general all around handy man and hard worker. He was extremely proud of his son and daughter and loved his grandchildren beyond words.
Now with wings of an angel, he flies high in Heaven. Rest Dad, we got it from here. Until we meet again in Heaven, know you are loved and missed!
Funeral services will be held at Higher Ground Church, 912 New Stine Road, Bakersfield, CA on August 16, 2019 at 3:00pm.
