Obituary for Laurel Moore …
Laurel Anne Moore, age 65 of Bakersfield, CA died unexpectedly August 11, 2016 at San Joaquin Community Hospital in Bakersfield, CA after suffering two strokes.

She was born on July 27, 1951 in San Fernando, CA to Harold and Alida Fredenburg and older brothers John and Allan. She graduated from San Fernando High School and attended Pacific Christian College. On September 18, 1970 she married Stephen Moore at Crenshaw Christian Church in Inglewood, CA.

Laurel grew up in the San Fernando Valley, lived in Bakersfield for almost 40 years, and had fond memories of the five years she lived in New Zealand. She was the owner of Minuteman Press in Bakersfield, CA for 26 years. She enjoyed music, singing, and working with children at church. She was a member of Christ’s Church of the Valley and other organizations. She most enjoyed getting the job done rather than discussing how to get the job done.

Although she was respected as a business woman and appreciated by those she worked with and ministered to, she was most proud of her daughters, grandchildren, and sons-in-law. She was looking forward to retirement and more time to travel.
