Gary D. Selvey. Sr

Gary Selvey Sr. was born on February 24, 1969. He gained his angel wings on February 22, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Gary’s favorite moments were spent fishing with his wife, and fishing partner, Sher’rie, and spending time with his granddaughters Addi, Olivia, Brilynn and Aspyn. These moments filled his heart with immeasurable happiness. 

Gary loved NASCAR, and he especially enjoyed his weekly bets and the friendly competition with his brother Ronnie Yocum.

Gary's pride knew no bounds when it came to his children: Heather Selvey, Gary Selvey Jr., Jessica Southwood, Reygan Gonzales, and Mariah Gonzales. He prayed for them daily,  and he celebrated their every success.

His furry son, Chase, brought an additional dimension of joy to Gary's life, embodying loyalty and companionship in their shared adventures.

Gary’s life exemplified love for his family and the friends who became family. Though he will be missed unbearably by his family and friends, his legacy of love and laughter will endure for generations to come.

A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at Westdale Park beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024.
