Our Father Gary was born in Princeton, Indiana and raised in East St. Louis, Illinois with his 3 sisters Joan, Doris, and Dixie by both of his parents Geneva and Cecil Hill. Our father enjoyed writing short stories, novels and poems, which lead him to publish a few of his books. He had a very successful career and retired from the Kern County Water Agency.
Our father was an amazing man who against all odds married our mother and provided us with some of the best opportunities any child could ever ask.
He is survived by his wife Veronica Hill, with whom he was married with for 25 years, his daughters Gissela Cadena, Melissa Trochez, Wendy Trochez, his son Henry Trochez, and his eight grandchildren.
Dad we will love you and miss you always, may your soul rest in peace and thank you for being such a wonderful role model, a loving father, an awesome grandfather, and an amazing husband to our mother.
