Elba was born on December 23, 1923 to Alessio and Fine' (Marinogni) Pelaghi in Masontown, Pennsylvania. She is pre-ceeded in death by her loving husband, Ruday Zallck.

A memorial will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery at a future date.
