Eduardo Rodriguez Ramirez “Lalo”, 66, of Bakersfield, California , passed away on July 2, 2023.
Lalo was born on April 28, 1957 to Amparo and Cecilio Ramirez in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. He is the 6th out of 11 siblings.
Lalo graduated from Foothill High School in 1975, where he played football. After high school, he began working at a grocery store. Later, he became a well known plasterer within our community for over 35 years.
In 1978, Lalo met Josie in Bakersfield. Lalo and Josie went on to have two beautiful and amazing children, Fernanda and Eddie Ramirez. Following their divorce, Lalo met Elaine and they were together for over a decade where he gained 2 stepchildren, Jackie and Todd Tellyer.
Lalo enjoyed watching the LA Dodgers, the LA Rams, listening to music, singing and dancing.
Lalo was predeceased by his parents Cecilio and Amparo Ramirez. He is survived by his children, Fernanda and Eddie, his stepchildren, Jackie and Todd and his grandkids, PJ and Sean Michael along with his 10 siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Services will be held at 1900 N. Chester Ave on July 28, 2023 at 10am.
