David Slaughter

David Lee Slaughter, passed away at Memorial Hospital on November 13, 2021.
He was born September 26, 1945 in Bakersfield, California the fourth child of Lincoln “R” Slaughter and Helen Marie Main Slaughter.
He graduated from East High in 1963. Attended BYU where he met his beautiful wife to be, Beverly Ann Tschanz. He continued his education at UC Los Angeles.
David became an Enrolled Agent and an Accredited Tax Accountant and eventually bought his father’s CPA practice.
David and Beverly had two sons, Reginald David and Jason Thomas.
David was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly, his son, Reginald, his parents, Lincoln and Helen Slaughter, his sister, Phyllis. Left to remember him with love are is son, Jason(Danielle), grandsons Joshua, Jonathan and Jeffrey. His siblings, Nicholas “R”Slaughter (Detra) and Marie Slaughter Whitfield (Ted).

Funeral services will be held November 20, 2021 at the LDS Chapel at 2828 McCray Street at 11am. Burial will
follow at Greenlawn Northeast.
David is in the care of Kern River Family Mortuary
