Danny Najera II

Danny Najera II devoted son, brother and Uno passed away peacefully

into the arms of Jesus Christ, November 24,2023.

 Danny was born March 17, 1979, in Bakersfield CA to Sheila Sanford

and Danny Najera. He was the first born. Danny attended McKee Elementary

Greenfield Middle and Ridgeview High Schools.

        He enjoyed riding bikes, driving remote-controlled cars, and fishing as a child

and as an adult. He enjoyed golfing with his nephew Michael and stepdad Bobby. He also

liked hanging out with his sister Rosa even if it meant going to work with her and

helping. He enjoyed fishing off the Pismo Pier and taking his dog Meka for walks.

       Danny had a great sense of humor; he loved making people laugh. He never raised his

voice or had a bad word to say.  He would help a stranger load their groceries, give his

 last dollar to someone in need. Danny had a big heart, he loved everyone.

       Danny worked at Vons San Luis Obispo in fresh cut and produce department, and at

Fitness 19.  Vinny his boss, was amazed when he came in one morning and all the broken equipment was fixed. Danny had fixed it!  In his spare time, he helped his mother in her shop baking.  He also enjoyed woodworking. He liked working with his hands. He could fix anything!

      Danny entered Teen Challenge Reedley CA 2022. There he turned his life around and

found Jesus. Upon graduating he worked at Grocery Outlet Bakersfield CA. He continued

his walk with Jesus at The Bridge Bible Church. Volunteered to lead his group from work in

 prayer. Now Danny is forever in Heaven in the presence of our Lord.

       Danny is predeceased in death by both sets of grandparents and his biological father.

He is survived by his mother Sheila Sanford and Bobby Ortega who was a father, mentor and

loved him unconditionally. Sister and best friend Rosa Najera, nephew Michael Dela Cruz

 and his fiancé Karen Cendejas. Great niece Elena Dela Cruz. Along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family wants to extend a special thank you to Kern River Family Mortuary,

 The Bridge Bible Church and Grocery Outlet for all their support.

 Ashley Rossi and the Garces Memorial High School FFA program for the flower arrangements..

A Celebration of Life will be held
