CJ Cullins

CJ Burkett Cullins age 42 was born on 3/12/1979 in Ridgecrest, Ca. to Roger Cullins and Sue Quaife. He left this earth on 6/7/2021.

CJ overcame a lot of difficulties in his first year of life. 12 years later he was diagnosed with kidney issues. In his teen years CJ was his own person deciding on what color of hair it was gonna be for that week purple, blue, green. CJ graduated from Arvin High in 1997.
CJ then went to Oxnard to go to trade school where he Met Tanika and in 2001 his first son Simon was born. CJ was an avid skateboarder and cofounded a skateboarding company called Corpse with his friend Cody. July 14th 2010 CJ had his first issue with his heart giving us all a scare. In 2014 CJs second son Oliver was born.
CJ and Brenna became friends in about 2010. After 8 years of being friends the stars aligned and they became a couple. They were best friends sharing every happy and sad moment in their life. In 2018 CJ decided to give us all another scare at this time CJ and Brenna started blending their family together. CJ will forever be missed as the pillar of strength in their family.
On June 7, 2021 CJs life was cut tragically short leaving us all with so many memories. He will be missed by so many. He swore he had 9 lives and I know we were no where near that yet…
CJ was preceded in death by grandparents Ed and Estel Cullins, Eurcle and Beatrice Burkett. He is survived by Fiancé Brenna Mathis, Sons Simon and Oliver Cullins and step daughter Genevieve Scott, Ex wife Tanika Cullins. Parents Roger and Cheryl Cullins and Sue and Harvey Quaife. Sisters, Melissa Cullins, Cam Godfrey, Gwen Hartley and Ashleigh Ennis. Brothers Shannon Prysock and Josh Godfrey. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
