Beverly "Becky" Horton
Aug 21, 1952 - Aug 9, 2016

On the morning of August 9th, 2016, Becky peacefully passed away in the Hospice Home in Bakersfield , Ca.after a brief struggle with cancer. She is preceded in death by both parents, Elzie and Dorothy Horton, sister Barbara Murphy, and brother Lee Horton.
Beckys family was her life. She enjoyed the simple life. She loved sitting on her porch early morning, drinking her cup of coffee and smoking her cigarettes. She also loved to gamble...having family poker night and reminiscing about her great childhood growing up.
Becky also had many hobbies and collected many different things...mostly her owls and Star Trek memorabilia. She was also an avid reader, mostly murder mysteries and romance novels.
She is survived by sisters Debra Horton and family, Donna and husband Bill Ragle and their family, numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and friends.
Each person held a special place in her heart.

No services are scheduled, but family and friends are invited to attend a potluck gathering at her home at 711 Yosimite Dr. Bakersfield, Ca. 93308 on Saturday, August 13th at 4pm in celebration of beckys life. Flowers and/or cards can also be sent to this address. Any further information please contact Debra Horton 661-468-0581

LETTER FROM HEAVEN
When tomorrow starts without me,
And I’m not here to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes,
Filled with tears for me.
I wish so much you wouldn’t cry,
The way you did today,
While thinking of the many things
We didn’t get to say.
I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time you think of me,
I know you’ll miss me too.
When tomorrow starts without me,
Don’t think we’re far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I’m right there in your heart!
