Anita Jorgenson Clement

1954-2024

Anita was born on May 1, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah to her father Edsel Jorgenson (1926-2003) and mother Nina Zelphia Jorgenson (1925-2009) . She was raised in Logan, Utah with her 5 siblings, Loren, Cherie, Patricia, Yvette, and Theresa before moving to Wasco, California in 1970. She graduated from Wasco High School with the class of 1972 where she was a cheerleader. She met and married her eternal companion, Randy Clement, who preceded her in death in 2016. They would have been married for 51 years this year. Together they raised seven magnificent children: Jason Clement (Christina), Jeremy Clement (Eliza), Aimee Stanton (Shaun), Amanda Cyde (David), Andrea (Chad), Jennifer Kirkpatrick (Matt), and Brittany Bryner (Thomas). Her greatest achievement was being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Anita has 22 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren with one on the way. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling and shopping. She was incredibly generous and often needed to be prompted to take care of her own needs, before she helped others. She served faithfully in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and in the Los Angeles Temple. She was extremely proud of her work at San Joaquin Refinery, where she was a revered member of the team. She prided herself on her meticulous record keeping and the wonderful relationships she built with coworkers who became family. The night before she passed away, she said if given the choice to have dinner with anyone throughout the history of time, she would choose her eternal sweetheart, Randy. She faithfully pined for him and grieved his loss for almost eight years. Now she is safe in his loving embrace and with the Lord and Savior of the World, Jesus Christ. “And when I desire to rejoice…I know in whom I have trusted”. 2 Nephi 4:19 Funeral services will be held on June 19, 2024 at 10:00 am, 5600 Panorama Dr, Bakersfield, CA 93306
